Thank you so much to everyone who came along to see us at UK Games Expo earlier this month, the response was overwhelming.
I’ve been working on Raids now for nearly 3 years, but this was the first real opportunity I got to have some face time with the gaming community and supporters of the project. We managed to drum up a lot of interest in the game and got to speak to some industry veterans too. It was a great experience and one that I plan to do again next year when the game will be fully available.
We had families and non-RPG gamers who came along and enjoyed a game. This has led to a push to make the game more accessible to new and causal gamers, but the difficulty is still there for those who want it.
Now let’s address the elephant in the room- Raids didn’t go to Kickstarter at the time of the expo as originally planned. The reason for this is that early on when setting up, I was approached by a few different manufacturers and I wanted to ensure the best possible product before attempting to raise any funds. I want the game to be something we can all be proud of, and so I decided to wait to make it the best it can be.
With that being said- RAIDS WILL GO TO KICKSTARTER AT THE END OF JUNE. Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your gaming group, and tell anyone who loves stories. Soon you’ll be able to play this new storytelling RPG with all of them.
Thank you so much for your patience and continued support. I love you all.
